Santonio Saves The Day

What a game! I burned more calories watching that game than after 3 hours of running on a treadmill. I could not sit down at all, I was pacing, jumping, screaming, freaking out...you name it and I went through it.

First and foremost you have to give it up to those tough Arizona Cardinals. They did not back down and put up one hell of a fight.

Santonio is the MVP. That TD run by James Harrison was incredible and Ben was Ben...extending plays and making things happen. The guy just wins baby!

I am so pumped, I am not sure how I will be able to sleep tonight. Maybe I won't...maybe I will watch it on my Tivo over and over and over and over and over and over! Super Bowl Champs baby!

I LOVE James Harrison

That has to be the greatest defensive play ever! First I was worried he would not get in for the TD and then I was worried by the time he got in the clock would run out. I am pumped! What a way to end the 1st half!

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Policeman Decides Fate of Steelers

Ok, I was rushing around this afternoon going to buy myself a few yummy snacks for the Super Bowl and I got pulled over by a cop. Great timing eh???

He walks up to the side of the car, asks to see my license and insurance. I give it to him and he asks if I know why I was stopped. I said, "I think I was going a little fast..." He says, " You were going 50 in a 35 mile an hour zone." Ooooops! Shit! I muttered I was sorry and he said, "I am going to go check your history and I will be right back." Ok, here is the exciting part. I got a ticket like 2 months ago for going 50 in a 35. So in my mind I am thinking you are dead meat. He is so going to give you a ticket. So in my mind I say to myself...If he gives me a ticket, then the Steelers are doomed...the ending to a shitty day. If he doesn't give me a ticket, the Steelers win it.

I hear his car door shut and he hands my license back. This is what he says, "Ma'am, I am not going to give you a ticket today but please slow down." I nearly pissed myself with excitement! The Steelers will win! The Steelers will win! "Thank you so much officer...thank you thank you!" He smiled and walked away. I have no idea why the man did not give me a ticket especially considering my checkered past. I didn't even flash my boobies! So I can only take this as a sign from God that my team will win today! I am so ready for the game now! Wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo!

Papa John's Takes A Risk

Ok, it really isn't much of a risk but you just have to take a shot. Papa John's is offering to sell you a pizza for just 25 cents if the opening kickoff of the Super Bowl is run back for a touchdown. Just go to the link below, register and if it happens, you get a large, one topping pizza for just a quarter. Worth a shot right??? Go check it out...

Rod Woodson Named To Enter Hall of Fame

One of my all time favorite Steelers is going into the NFL Hall of Fame. Rod Woodson was elected along with Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Ralph Wilson, Randall McDaniel and Bob Hayes.

This was Woodson's first year of eligibility.

Inductions will be held August 8th in Canton, Ohio.

I Have The Coolest Mom Ever

I woke up this morning, brushed my teeth and wrote my last blog. I went into the kitchen just now to find a little something to eat and apparently my mom has snuck into my house either last night or early this morning and left these balloons in the kitchen for me. How cool is this for a morning wake up???? I just had to share with everyone how cool she is.

Today Is The Day

Finally all the hype is over and it is almost game time. I am super pumped about the game, I think it will be a very close and exciting game.

The weekend has brought me lots of calls from friends and family wanting to come watch the big game with me. I turned down every single person which left them a little puzzled. So here it is plain and simple...I want to watch the game alone. I like to pay close attention to the things going on, I don't want to be distracted by a possible Cardinals fan in the mix rooting against my team. I don't want to hear, "Hey, where's the bathroom?" or "Are there anymore Doritos?" If it were any other team other than mine, then yes, the more the merrier but not for this game.

So I know I am the anti-social one today...what are your plans for watching the big game?? Any great snack recipes you would like to share?? Super Bowl traditions you might have? Let me hear from you...
