Policeman Decides Fate of Steelers

Ok, I was rushing around this afternoon going to buy myself a few yummy snacks for the Super Bowl and I got pulled over by a cop. Great timing eh???

He walks up to the side of the car, asks to see my license and insurance. I give it to him and he asks if I know why I was stopped. I said, "I think I was going a little fast..." He says, " You were going 50 in a 35 mile an hour zone." Ooooops! Shit! I muttered I was sorry and he said, "I am going to go check your history and I will be right back." Ok, here is the exciting part. I got a ticket like 2 months ago for going 50 in a 35. So in my mind I am thinking you are dead meat. He is so going to give you a ticket. So in my mind I say to myself...If he gives me a ticket, then the Steelers are doomed...the ending to a shitty day. If he doesn't give me a ticket, the Steelers win it.

I hear his car door shut and he hands my license back. This is what he says, "Ma'am, I am not going to give you a ticket today but please slow down." I nearly pissed myself with excitement! The Steelers will win! The Steelers will win! "Thank you so much officer...thank you thank you!" He smiled and walked away. I have no idea why the man did not give me a ticket especially considering my checkered past. I didn't even flash my boobies! So I can only take this as a sign from God that my team will win today! I am so ready for the game now! Wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo!

I have been allowed to walk 2 times the past 3 years, One time about 2 blocks from my house for going 47 in a 35 Zone and one time in South Florida at 1 AM for going through a Red Light.
I guess for myself being a little older (52) now and not having any tickets in 25 years have let me getting lucky.

Wow! That is pretty lucky! I just knew I was getting a ticket...just knew it. What a relief!
Thanks for the comment!

Nope, not at all. Seriously I cannot believe he let me go.
