Domenik Hixon: Superstar in the Making??

Domenik Hixon put on a show last night. The 2006 4th round draft pick of the Denver Broncos is showing why he deserves to be a starting wide receiver in the NFL.
Hixon was dropped by the Broncos in 2007 and picked up by the Giants just in time for their Super Bowl run. He mainly returned kicks for them and got them in some excellent field positions during the big game.
Last night, Hixon scored 3 TDs in the 1st quarter against the Cleveland Browns. One was a kick return and the other two were awesome catches made in the back of the end zone.
I got to meet Hixon a few years ago when he was a Bronco. So I feel like he is my discovery. HA! Go Hixon! Go!

UFC: Georges St Pierre Domination

I went over to my buddy Jimmy's house this past weekend to watch UFC 87. After downing a couple of yummy grilled out hotdogs it was time for some action!

I had not seen any of Brock Lesnar's previous fights but if this one was any indication of his skills, then watch out for this guy. He is a monster! He hit Heath Herring so hard that after falling on his butt the force flipped him backwards. That fight was so much fun to watch! Heath's face looked like it had been run over by a tire. Check out the photo!

Georges St. Pierre dominated Jon Fitch. There were so many times I thought Fitch was done but that crazy bastard would shake it off and keep coming at St. Pierre.
St. Pierre is so precise, like a surgeon. He doesn't waste any moves, does damage on almost every shot. I don't think he has any body fat at all. It makes me sick. That just isn't human!
I can't wait to watch Liddell fight next month. See if he can get his act together finally and whip up on Rashard Evans.

Brett Favre Traded to the NY Jets

Brett Favre has been traded to the NY Jets. All the details have not been released yet but rumors are he was traded for a single draft pick. The pick will depend on how well the Jets perform in 2008.
It makes me sad that this is how it was worked out. I almost wish he had just taken the money and stayed retired. If he comes back and plays terribly he will have to go out like that instead of leaving having taken a team that was not expected to do much all they way to the NFL Championship game.
This just makes the anticipation of the 2008 football season even worse. Hurry up September!
Does this mean Chad Pennington will be going to Tampa Bay????
